Our youth ministry is here to provide help and hope without judgement to today’s “Post-Christian generation.”

Many of today’s youth have lost interest in church, some have even outright rejected Christianity, and every one of them have been hurt by others in some way. It does not matter if you are a kid who has been raised in church your whole life, or one who has never set foot inside the doors of a church. If you are a young person today chances are you feel disconnected and isolated and can not see how faith is relevant to your life.

Our goal is to helping those who hurt, restore hope, & show youth how faith can become an important part of their everyday life. Our desire is to create a safe environment for learning, growth, healing, and recovery so that young people can reach their full potential as children of God. Jesus message was one of hope, healing, salvation, and restoration.  Just like Jesus unconditional acts of compassion were meant to lead people to God, ours are meant to lead others to Jesus.  Actions will always speak louder then words.

The Model we follow is CDPS.

Calling-  others to follow Christ through service & evangelism

Discipling- teaching the basics of faith & mentoring those who have faith to expand and grow upon their own faith

Preparing– Training & equipping others to be leaders spreading God’s Kingdom

Sending– out others to reach their peers, friends, and families with God’s love being the hands of Christ to the world.

SEEKING-LUKE 19:10

Jesus was a people seeker. He did not hang around synagogues waiting for people to come to him. He went outside religious places and reached out to people.

You could often find Jesus at a party, having dinner at someone’s home, or engaging in conversations with strangers on the street. He went where the people who needed him would be.

SERVING– MATT 20:26-30

Jesus actions backed up what he said. People accepted his message that God  was real and cared for them because He showed it by what he did.  So do we.

SHARING– JOHN 4:29, MRK 5:19

Jesus came to declare to good news of God’s kingdom, and he taught all those who were willing to listen. Those who met him shared his story with others as witnesses….and so do we.

SUPPORTING– MATT 9:12-15

Jesus knew some people needed extra help, even when they messed up or were going though hard times. Whether it was a sinful women , a despised tax collector, or his own close friends who had abandoned him, Jesus stuck by people without giving up on them or refusing to help them.

SENDING:  "go and make disciples" -Jesus

Jesus trained those who followed him to be leaders sending them out to reach others with his message.
