SCHOOL CALENDAR

Preschool classes will follow the Kanawha County Schools calendar.  If Kanawha County Schools are closed, there will be no preschool or WV Pre-K.  This means that children enrolled as “Preschool Only” from 9am – 12:00pm or “Pre-K Only” from 8am – 2:30pm will not attend The Growing Place when Kanawha County Schools are closed.  Child care services will still be available for those enrolled in the full-day program with the following exceptions:

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving (Wednesday before and Friday after)

• Christmas Eve thru New Year’s Day

• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

• Good Friday

• Memorial Day

• Independence Day

• The last full week of July (For annual cleaning and maintenance)
