Who We Are

We are a mission destination for groups who want to make a difference in the lives of others. The goal of our ministry is to make homes safe, dry, and accessible. Besides this we offer opportunities to work with other non-profit agencies in our community that serve the elderly and needy. We offer week-long and weekend experiences.

Our Story

For the past 20 plus years, Christ Church United Methodist has benefitted from churches and ministries across our nation as we have sojourned on our annual mission trip.  In response to these many acts of grace and hospitality, we decided to pay it forward.

As a result, the C.R.O.S.S. Ministry was formed to make CCUM a destination for  youth and adult mission teams.  Our community also benefits as we seek to meet the needs of our neighbors and our nonprofit agencies in need.

What do We Offer?

  • ​​We provide housing through our private dorm facility.  We have shower facilities, a gym and a space for evening gatherings.

  • Evening meals can be provided or we can provide you with a kitchen to prepare your own meals.

  • We provide the work while you stay with us as well as a site manager.

  • Evening devotions, worship and fellowship activities can be provided if desired.  Devotion booklets are available if you would like to use them.

  • We can help you in arranging any fun activities for your group enhance your experience with us!

  • We offer an evening of Appalachian culture if desired
