Meet Our Staff

Cindy Cash has served as the Director of The Growing Place since 2014. She has over 25 years of experience in the early child care and education field. She is a graduate of West Virginia State College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

Teachers and Staff

The Growing Place staff is comprised of highly motivated, dedicated, and caring professionals. Each staff member is carefully screened through criminal background/fingerprint checks, health exams, and TB risk assessments as well as state and national sex offender registry checks. Staff must complete 18 hours of continuing education annually in the areas of child growth and development, health and safety, nutrition, environment and curriculum, child observation and assessment, family and community, professionalism and leadership. In addition, all staff must complete training in child abuse recognition and prevention and maintain certification in CPR and First Aid.
